Background

Here we go, another kit purchased at Village Quilts in Lethbridge. Loved the monochromatic feel of the fabrics Janet and Natasha put together. The pattern, round & round is by Camille Roskelley at thimble blossoms. It was purchased June 2014. The charm blocks used to make the circles are from a fabric series called little black dress 2 by BasicGrey for Moda Fabrics.

Barbara started on the top March 25, 2105. She finished it, following some interruptions—you know, babies and such—August 8th. As with most quilts it was professionally quilted by Catherine. Who also supplied the batting and backing fabric.

It barely covers our queen size bed, but given it has header and footer boards, it really couldn't be a lot longer, and the pattern just couldn't be easily widened. So, I guess you get to see the sheets hanging down the side of the bed. Won't bother me.

Round & Round

Not really monochrome, but it gives one that feeling. Really liked it when I saw at Village Quilts.
