Good afternoon all,

Progress to date:

Several requests for teams are still outstanding.

Let's get this done. The sooner the better but certainly by July 21st.

Please also refer to the email of June 15.

Doubles court situation at VLT is still uncertain.

Rick has developed a few scenarios of how to have a full season for Holly, VRC, and EVE and fit in VLT as best we can.

Evergreen

Evergreen is currently receiving player applications with a deadline of this Friday, July 11th.

Pending outcome of a captains meeting a tentative plan is:

Div 1 — Kerluke
Div 2 — Annette (Henwood) Johanson
Div 3 — Broman, Gaffney, Stiphout
Div 4 — Whitworth

There is a possibility of a div 3 team dropping out and an application for a second div 2 team with more strength than Sibley's team of last season.

VRC

I can find only one request from VRC; Mottus/Pybus for a div 2 team.

I think there was mention of Geoff Williams being captain of a div 1 team.

Rick and I are anticipating a div 1 request, a div 3 team, and two div 4 teams.

Confirmation of current plans from VRC will be appreciated.

HOL

Bill James has requested a div 2 team based on last season results.

Confirmation of a div 1 and a div 3 team will be appreciated.

If there is sufficient interest for a div 4 team at Hollyburn, that would certainly receive consideration.

VLT

We are making plans that would accommodate VLT being available only until December or so; as well as for a full season should construction be delayed until May. With that in mind:

Paul Gray is requesting a div 2 team.

Confirmation of a div 1 and a div 4 team will be appreciated.
